Charlie Faraday - 8/13/19!

Hammock & Static Trapeze Technique

5-7pm

Designed for the beginning student, this workshop explores details of body position, body orientation, momentum, strength efficiency, and counterbalance as they pertain to trapeze technique. In it several common trapeze skills and concepts are dissected with special focus given to beat/tempo techniques.

This workshop also examines body shapes, transitions, spins, and drops on the hammock and explores ways of working on the hammock that are particularly beneficial for performing in venues with low ceiling height and for long atmospheric sets. Students will use their own unique skills and talents to develop unique hammock sequences.
